Hi, I’m Fiona.

On 22nd September 2022, I said I do in Chania, Crete, surrounded by the people I love most, in a place that felt like it had been waiting for us all along.

Planning from the UK was one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever done. It was also, at times, genuinely overwhelming: endless Facebook groups, too many browser tabs, and recommendations from strangers that may or may not have been trustworthy.

But we found our people. And what surprised me most wasn’t the wedding day itself, it was what came after.

Since September 2022, I’ve recommended our vendors to what feels like hundreds of couples. Our DJ, Aris, has become a genuine friend. Our transport provider still picks us up from the airport every time we’re back on the island. These aren’t just vendors we hired once. They’re people who became part of our story.

That’s what I wanted to help other couples find.

Alongside this, I bring 17 years in fundraising and event management, coordinating trusted suppliers, managing logistics, and shaping experiences where every detail matters.

How it started

I built I Do In Greece because I couldn’t find it when I needed it. Not another overwhelming directory, and not a platform chasing commissions. Just an honest, well-considered space where couples can find wedding professionals who are genuinely brilliant at what they do.

Where we’re going

We’re starting with Crete, building a directory based on real experience, careful research, and trusted word-of-mouth. Then we’ll expand across Greece, keeping the same standard: quality, clarity, and a calmer planning experience.

There are no referral fees here. No commission. Couples contact vendors directly. Vendors are listed because they deserve to be found, not because they paid the most.
