Overview
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between I Do In Greece Ltd (“I Do In Greece”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Scotland (company number SC878269), and any wedding vendor (“Vendor”, “you”, “your”) who registers for a listing on the I Do In Greece platform at www.idoingreece.com (the “Platform”).
By completing the vendor registration form and/or subscribing to a listing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
About the Platform
I Do In Greece is a wedding vendor directory focused exclusively on Greece. The Platform connects couples planning destination weddings in Crete with local, vetted wedding vendors.
The Platform provides vendor listing pages where couples can discover vendors and contact them directly. I Do In Greece does not act as an agent, broker, or intermediary between vendors and couples. We do not facilitate bookings, process payments between vendors and couples, or take any responsibility for contracts entered into between vendors and couples.
Vendor Listings
What Your Listing Includes
Each vendor listing on the Platform includes:
- Your business name and a written bio or description of your services
- Portfolio images or links to showcase your work
- Your direct contact email address
- Links to your social media profiles (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, website)
- Languages spoken
- Your vendor category (e.g. Photographer, Florist, Planner, DJ)
Direct Contact Model
The Platform operates on a direct contact model. Couples may contact you directly via your listed email address, social media, or through the enquiry form on your listing page. All enquiries are forwarded directly to your registered email address. I Do In Greece does not store or have access to these messages. All communication, negotiations, and contractual arrangements are made directly between the vendor and the couple.
Listing Content
You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided for your listing is accurate, up to date, and not misleading. You grant I Do In Greece a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your submitted business name, bio, images, and links for the purpose of displaying your listing on the Platform and promoting the Platform across our marketing channels (including social media, email marketing, and partnerships).
We reserve the right to edit listing content for formatting, consistency, or to correct obvious errors, but we will not materially alter the substance of your listing without your consent.
Fees and Payment
Standard Listing Fee
The standard annual listing fee is £200 per year, payable in advance via Stripe. Your listing will remain active for 12 months from the date of payment.
Founding Partner Programme
The first 50 vendors to register for the Platform are invited to join as Founding Partners. Founding Partners receive:
- 12 months of free listing from the date of registration
- A “Founding Partner” badge displayed on their listing
- Early access to new features and platform developments
Following the initial 12-month free period, Founding Partners will be invited to renew at the standard annual rate of £200 per year. There is no obligation to renew.
Renewals and Cancellations
Listing subscriptions do not auto-renew. We will contact you in advance of your renewal date to confirm whether you wish to continue your listing. If you choose not to renew, your listing will be removed from the Platform at the end of your current subscription period.
Refunds are not available for unused portions of a subscription period, except where required by law.
No Referral Fees or Commission
I Do In Greece does not charge referral fees or take commission on any bookings, contracts, or revenue generated through connections made via the Platform. The listing fee is the only charge associated with your presence on the Platform.
No commission. Ever.
We don’t take a percentage of your bookings, now or in the future. The directory exists to help couples find you, and to help you be found.
Vendor Responsibilities
As a vendor listed on the Platform, you agree to:
Notify us promptly of any material changes to your business, including closure, change of contact details, or changes to the services you offer
- Provide accurate and truthful information about your business, services, and credentials
- Respond to couple enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Hold all necessary licences, permits, and insurance required to operate your business in Crete, Greece
- Comply with all applicable local, national, and EU laws and regulations
- Not use the Platform to promote services that are illegal, fraudulent, or misleading
Our Responsibilities
I Do In Greece will:
- Maintain and host your listing on the Platform for the duration of your subscription
- Promote the Platform to couples planning weddings in Greece through our marketing efforts
- Treat all vendors fairly and consistently
We do not guarantee a specific number of enquiries, leads, or bookings. The Platform is a directory and discovery tool, and results will vary depending on your category, location within Greece, the quality of your listing, and seasonal demand.
Intellectual property
All content, branding, design, and code associated with the Platform remain the intellectual property of I Do In Greece Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or repurpose any part of the Platform without our written consent.
You retain ownership of the images, text, and content you provide for your listing. By submitting content, you warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to use it and that it does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Data Protection and Privacy
We process your personal and business data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your data will be used for the purposes of managing your listing, communicating with you about your subscription, and promoting the Platform.
Your business contact details (email and social media links) will be publicly displayed on your listing page, as this is the mechanism by which couples contact you. By registering, you consent to this.
We will not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes unrelated to the Platform. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy at www.idoingreece.com/privacy.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Our total liability to you under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in listing fees in the 12 months preceding any claim.
I Do In Greece acts solely as a directory and listing service. We are not a party to any contract or arrangement between a vendor and a couple.
We accept no liability for any loss, damage, dispute, or claim arising from the relationship between a vendor and a couple, including but not limited to cancellations, service failures, or contractual disputes.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by couples or other vendors on the Platform.
Suspension and Removal
We reserve the right to suspend or remove a vendor listing at our discretion if:
- The vendor breaches these Terms
- The vendor’s listing content is found to be inaccurate, misleading, or offensive
- We receive credible complaints about the vendor’s conduct or service quality
- The vendor fails to respond to reasonable communications from I Do In Greece
- Continued listing would, in our reasonable opinion, damage the reputation or integrity of the Platform
Where possible, we will notify you before removing your listing and give you a reasonable opportunity to address any concerns. In cases of serious breach, we may remove a listing immediately without prior notice.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless I Do In Greece Ltd, its officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your listing content, or any breach of these Terms.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between you and I Do In Greece in connection with these Terms, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter informally in the first instance by contacting hello@idoingreece.com.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts of Scotland.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
