Terms of Use for couples

These terms cover your use of idoingreece.com and its free planning tools. I’ve kept them short and in plain English. By creating an account, you agree to them.

The tools are free
The shortlist, planner and budget tools are free for couples, with no subscription and no hidden charges. We’re funded by vendors who choose to list with us, never by couples, and we never take commission on your bookings.
We're a directory, not part of your booking
I Do In Greece helps you find and contact wedding professionals in Greece. When you book a vendor, your agreement is directly between you and them. We aren’t a party to it, we don’t take payments, and we can’t act as agent or referee between you.
Vendors are independent businesses
Every vendor listed is an independent business, responsible for their own services, prices, contracts, licences and insurance. We choose listings with care, but we don’t verify vendors’ credentials, licences or insurance, and we can’t guarantee their work. Please check anything important with a vendor directly, and read their contract before you pay a deposit. If something goes wrong with a booking, it’s between you and the vendor, though I’d always like to hear about it.
Planning guidance
Our articles, checklists and budget tool are general guidance to help you plan. Rules for weddings in Greece, especially legal paperwork, can change, so please confirm the details with the relevant authorities or your planner.
Your account
Please give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Don’t use the site to send spam, harass vendors, or do anything unlawful. We may close an account that’s misused.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard (“Delete account”), or by emailing hello@idoingreece.com.
- Your account is then scheduled for deletion, and you have 14 days to change your mind by simply logging back in.
- After 14 days, your account, shortlist, planner and budget are permanently deleted. Our Privacy Policy explains this in more detail, including backups.
Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or online. We aren’t responsible for any vendor’s services or for losses from a booking you make with a vendor. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, or any liability that can’t legally be limited.
Changes
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above, and we’ll email account holders about any important change.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer laws and can bring a claim in your local courts.
