Vendor Terms and Conditions

Overview

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between I Do In Greece Ltd (“I Do In Greece”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Scotland (company number SC878269), and any wedding vendor (“Vendor”, “you”, “your”) who registers for a listing on the I Do In Greece platform at www.idoingreece.com (the “Platform”).

By completing the vendor registration form and/or subscribing to a listing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

About the Platform

I Do In Greece is a wedding vendor directory focused exclusively on Greece. The Platform connects couples planning destination weddings in Greece with local wedding vendors.

The Platform provides vendor listing pages where couples can discover vendors and contact them directly. I Do In Greece does not act as an agent, broker, or intermediary between vendors and couples. We do not facilitate bookings, process payments between vendors and couples, or take any responsibility for contracts entered into between vendors and couples.

Vendor Listings

What Your Listing Includes

Each vendor listing on the Platform may include, depending on your listing tier:

• Your business name and a written description of your services
• A portfolio image gallery to showcase your work
• Your direct contact details (email, website, Instagram and WhatsApp, where provided)
• Your vendor category (for example Photographer, Florist, Planner, DJ)
• Your base region in Greece, and any other regions you cover

Listing Tiers

Listings are offered across the following tiers. The features and image limits of each tier are as described on our For Professionals page and may be updated from time to time:

• Free: a basic listing so couples can find you, including a profile, description, a small image gallery, contact links, and category and location filtering. No charge.
• Standard: €129 per year. Everything in Free, plus a larger image gallery, higher placement in directory search, and social media promotion.
• Premium: €199 per year. Everything in Standard, plus the largest image gallery, an editorial spotlight article, featured placement in the homepage vendor carousel for four separate weeks each year once your listing is complete, and priority placement in search.
• Founding Partner: all Premium features, free for your first 12 months (see below).

Direct Contact Model

Couples contact you directly, through your listed contact details or the enquiry form on your listing page. Enquiries sent through the form are emailed straight to you, with a copy to the couple. We don’t keep the couple’s details or message. We only count how many enquiries, and WhatsApp and website taps, your listing receives, so we can show you how it’s performing. All conversations, quotes and contracts are directly between you and the couple.

Listing Content

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided for your listing is accurate, up to date, and not misleading. Our use of your photos and text is covered under “Your Photos and Content” below.

We reserve the right to edit listing content for formatting, consistency, or to correct obvious errors, but we will not materially alter the substance of your listing without your consent.

Your Photos and Content

You keep ownership of all the photos and text you supply to us.

While you’re listed on I Do In Greece, you give us a non-exclusive, free licence to use those photos and that text on your listing, and in our social media, newsletters and other marketing, to promote your business and the site, including posts that feature you alongside other vendors listed on I Do In Greece.

By supplying photos, you confirm that you own them, or that you have the photographer’s permission to share them for this use. Where we know who the photographer is, we’ll credit them.

You can ask us to stop using any image at any time by emailing hello@idoingreece.com. We’ll remove it from the site and won’t use it in any new posts. Posts we’ve already published may remain.

Fees and Payment

Listing Fees

Paid listing fees are as set out under “Listing Tiers” above (Standard €129 per year, Premium €199 per year), payable annually in advance. Your paid listing will remain active for 12 months from the date of payment. A Free listing carries no charge.

When online card payments are enabled, this will be processed securely via Stripe. Until then, paid listings are arranged and invoiced directly. This note will be updated once Stripe is live.

Founding Partner Programme

Our earliest vendors are invited to join as Founding Partners. Places are limited to the first 75 vendors, and a place isn’t passed on to anyone else if a Founding Partner later moves to a paid tier. Founding Partners receive:

• 12 months of free listing with all Premium features, from the date they join
• A “Founding Partner” badge on their listing
• Early access to new features as we build them

We don’t take any payment details to join, and nothing renews automatically. Before your 12 months end, we’ll contact you. You can then choose a paid tier at the rate in effect at that time, or move to the Free listing at no cost. If we don’t hear from you, your listing will move to the Free tier, and your profile stays live.

Renewals and Cancellations

Paid listings never renew automatically. We’ll contact you before your renewal date to ask whether you’d like to continue. If you choose not to renew, your paid features end at the close of your current period and your listing moves to the Free tier, unless you ask us to remove it.

Refunds are not available for unused portions of a subscription period, except where required by law.

No Referral Fees or Commission

I Do In Greece does not charge referral fees or take commission on any bookings, contracts, or revenue generated through connections made via the Platform. The listing fee is the only charge associated with your presence on the Platform.

No commission. Ever. We don’t take a percentage of your bookings, now or in the future. The directory exists to help couples find you, and to help you be found.

Vendor Responsibilities

As a vendor listed on the Platform, you agree to:

• Notify us promptly of any material changes to your business, including closure, change of contact details, or changes to the services you offer
• Provide accurate and truthful information about your business, services, and credentials
• Respond to couple enquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Hold, and keep up to date, all licences, permits and insurance your business needs to operate in Greece. I Do In Greece doesn't verify vendors' credentials, licences or insurance
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and EU laws and regulations
• Not use the Platform to promote services that are illegal, fraudulent, or misleading
• Ensure you own or have permission to use all images and content you upload, including any photographs taken by third-party photographers

Our Responsibilities

I Do In Greece will:

• Maintain and host your listing on the Platform for the duration of your subscription
• Promote the Platform to couples planning weddings in Greece through our marketing efforts
• Treat all vendors fairly and consistently

We do not guarantee a specific number of enquiries, leads, or bookings. The Platform is a directory and discovery tool, and results will vary depending on your category, location within Greece, your listing tier, the quality of your listing, and seasonal demand.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and code associated with the Platform remain the intellectual property of I Do In Greece Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or repurpose any part of the Platform without our written consent.

Data Protection and Privacy

We process your personal and business data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your data will be used for the purposes of managing your listing, communicating with you about your subscription, and promoting the Platform.

Your business contact details will be publicly displayed on your listing page, as this is the mechanism by which couples contact you. By registering, you consent to this.

If your listing is removed from the Platform, it’s kept in our admin Trash for 30 days in case it was removed by mistake, then permanently deleted along with its photos.

We will not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes unrelated to the Platform. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability to you under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in listing fees in the 12 months preceding any claim.
• I Do In Greece acts solely as a directory and listing service. We are not a party to any contract or arrangement between a vendor and a couple.
• We accept no liability for any loss, damage, dispute, or claim arising from the relationship between a vendor and a couple, including but not limited to cancellations, service failures, or contractual disputes.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by couples or other vendors on the Platform.

Suspension and Removal

We reserve the right to suspend or remove a vendor listing at our discretion if:

• The vendor breaches these Terms
• The vendor's listing content is found to be inaccurate, misleading, or offensive
• We receive credible complaints about the vendor's conduct or service quality
• The vendor fails to respond to reasonable communications from I Do In Greece
• Continued listing would, in our reasonable opinion, damage the reputation or integrity of the Platform

Where possible, we will notify you before removing your listing and give you a reasonable opportunity to address any concerns. In cases of serious breach, we may remove a listing immediately without prior notice. Where we remove a paid listing for breach, no refund will be due.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless I Do In Greece Ltd, its officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, your listing content, or any breach of these Terms.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and I Do In Greece in connection with these Terms, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter informally in the first instance by contacting hello@idoingreece.com.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts of Scotland.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
